Wedding Chocolate Box Order for 210 Units Client BriefA bride approached us with a specific request for a wedding chocolate box. The vision for the design was clear, and needed to focus on the incorporation of an Indian motif, and the initials of the bride and groom featured prominently on a band. We were provided a sample image to guide us in understanding her design preferences, with a strong emphasis on the colour, texture, and aesthetics of the box. The Challenge: To design and produce 210 wedding chocolate boxes, ensuring that the box design, colour, motifs, and initials met the clients expectations and style preferences. Design Precision: The client was very particular about the design elements, requiring precise replication of the provided motif and the accurate placement of initials. Colour Matching: The box design required a balance between elegance and luxury, with specific colour choices that aligned with the weddings theme. Material Selection: Choosing the right paper and finishes to elevate the design while maintaining durability for packaging chocolate. Our Design Process Research Inspiration: We carefully analyzed the image provided by the client, noting the exact style of the Indian motif, the colour palette, and the overall feel of the box. The motif needed to be intricate and culturally appropriate, with a focus on adding an elegant and regal touch to the packaging. Concept Development: After reviewing the client's brief and sample image, we created several design concepts incorporating traditional Indian motifs in foil printing. We ensured that the motifs were delicate yet impactful, achieving an elegant and festive look. Material Selection: We decided on a combination of paper finishes to reflect sophistication and luxury. For theBox Paper, we chose a dull gold shimmer paper for the main box. The soft shimmer was a subtle but elegant choice that complemented the Indian motif, adding warmth and richness without being too overwhelming. For the Band Paper, to highlight the bride and groom's initials, we selected a bronze metallic paper for the band. The bronze added a touch of metallic luxury, contrasting beautifully with the dull gold of the box, while still maintaining a harmonious design. Foil Printing: The Indian motifs and the initials of the bride and groom were foil printed on both the box and the band. The gold foil on the dull gold paper enhanced the intricate designs, giving the packaging an added layer of luxury and sophistication. The initials were carefully positioned on the band in an elegant script, ensuring they stood out while remaining tasteful. Design Refinement: Once the initial designs were complete, we presented them to the client for feedback. The client was involved at every stage of the process, providing feedback on the design elements, colors, and materials. This allowed us to make any necessary tweaks to ensure that the final design matched her vision perfectly. Approvals Production Final Design Approval: After incorporating the clients feedback and refining the design, the outcome was met with immense satisfaction from the client. The combination of the dull gold shimmer paper, intricate foil-printed motifs, and the personalized bronze metallic band with the initials of the bride and groom was striking and elegant. Each box was crafted with precision, ensuring the motifs and initials were flawless.
