When the Teacher is Ready the Student Appears | A Teachers Day ReflectionIt is often said: When the student is ready, the teacher appears. But in my case, it happened the other way around.Earlier this year, I quietly resolved to share my craft of chocolate-making with just one or two passionate individuals who dreamed of turning their vision into reality. I did not advertise, post, or promote this idea. I simply trusted that the right student would appear. And she did.Madhuri reached out with a clear purpose to learn the art of chocolate-making and eventually start her own caf. From the moment we met, I could sense her determination. Together, we designed a curriculum, adjusted her work schedule, and began an intensive five-week journey. For Madhuri, it meant learning new techniques, gaining confidence, and watching her dream take shape. For me and my team, it meant rediscovering the joy of our craft through her eyes. What felt routine to us was magical for her and that spark was contagious. When her training concluded, we were both proud and emotional. She left as a confident chocolatier, ready to pursue her vision. And I was reminded that mentorship is never one-directional: every student also teaches the teacher. On this Teachers Day, I am reminded of a simple truth: teaching is as much about learning as it is about imparting knowledge. Today, I celebrate not only my own teachers, but also the privilege of teaching others. To my fellow entrepreneurs, chocolatiers, and makers never underestimate the power of sharing your craft. Sometimes, even one passionate student can reignite your own love for what you do.Who knows maybe its time for your student to appear too?#TeachersDay #ChocolateMaking #Mentorship #Leadership #Craftsmanship #LearningJourney #TeacherAndStudent #PassionToProfession #JusTrufs
